Auto detailing is a thorough treatment that carefully cleans, restores and protects both the interior and exterior of a vehicle. The process starts with an inspection to assess the condition of paint, rims and interior. The exterior is then washed, clayed and polished: washing removes surface dirt, claying removes stubborn particles and polishing restores scratches and dull spots for a deep shine.
Inside, the focus is on vacuuming carpets and seats, cleaning and treating upholstery, plastics and windows, and beautifying dash and console. Not only does a detailing treatment provide a renewed look and fresh driving experience, but it also helps keep the car cleaner, protect the paint and preserve the vehicle's value.
The time we spend detailing your car depends on which package you take, and what kind of preparations we need to make for it. Usually we can complete a full treatment within 1 business day, but we may need an additional business day to ensure the car is perfect. For cleaning and washing, the time we are working is listed with the description of the treatment.
We work exclusively with products from XPEL. This company is known worldwide as one of the best suppliers in the field of detailing. For more information about the products we use, click here.
It is difficult to work with fixed prices for detailing. The most important factor is the size of your car and the condition of the paint. If you are curious about the cost for your car, please contact us without obligation. We will be happy to tell you about the possibilities.
Before polishing, your car is thoroughly washed. Then all parts that should not be polished are taped off, so that they are not damaged during polishing. After polishing, the entire car is degreased, and we apply a ceramic wax.
Wax is a natural protection that provides shine and lasts for several weeks, while a sealant provides a synthetic, more durable layer that often lasts for several months. Ceramic coating is the most long-lasting option, protecting the paint from UV, chemicals and dirt for years while making cleaning the car easier.
In 1-step polishing, the car is given a single light polish. In 2-step polishing, the car is first roughly polished to remove deeper scratches. Then it is lightly polished to get the paint completely shiny again. With 3-step polishing, an additional step is preceded, an extra coarse paste, which also reduces or eliminates some deeper scratches.
The ceramic wax reduces the adhesion of dirt to your car and gives the paint a beautiful, deep shine. After application, the wax remains on the paintwork for about four weeks and provides temporary extra protection against dust, light pollution and weathering.
Basically, you do not need to prepare anything special before bringing your car to us. However, we do ask that you remove child seats, loose luggage and other large objects from the car. This makes it easier for our specialists to access all surfaces and ensures that your interior remains fully protected during treatment. With these simple preparations, you will help ensure that the treatment is carried out quickly and efficiently, so that we can take perfect care of your car and guarantee the best results.
Basically, almost any car can be treated by us with our professional detailing treatments, with a few exceptions. For example, if your car's clear coat is loose or damaged, it is not possible to polish in those areas without risk of further damage. In that case, the paint would have to be repaired or repainted first. Want to know if your car is suitable for treatment, or do you have specific questions about the condition of your paint? If so, feel free to contact us so we can give you personal advice and create an appropriate plan for your vehicle.
In addition to detailing, we also specialize in XPEL PPF, blind windows, ceramic coatings, wrap and sticker.
