The time we spend on window tinting depends on how many windows you want tinted. It usually takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours. We take the time to thoroughly clean your car and windows so that no dust or dirt gets under the window film, for a perfect installation.
We work exclusively with film from XPEL. This company is known worldwide as the best supplier of window film. We use scratch-free film, which does not contain metals. You will also receive a 10-year warranty after the installation of the film.
We work with fixed prices for window tinting, so you don't have to ask for a quote, or face unexpected costs. For commercial vehicles and exclusive cars such as supercars we do not have fixed prices. This is because the price depends on the number of windows, and the degree of difficulty. For example, it is also possible to tint the windows of your truck, bus or tractor. Any vehicle with windows can basically be tinted, with a few exceptions. Feel free to ask us about the possibilities.
Window tinting is legal to some extent. For the windshield and front doors, a minimum of 55% of light must pass through. For rear windows, there are no restrictions. Via this link you will find more information. We work with 70% translucent film for the windshield and front doors, so completely legal. You will also receive a certificate from us, showing the percentage of the film. We offer the possibility to tint your windshield and front doors with a lower percentage, this is at your own risk.
Yes, there are some things you can do to make it a little easier for us and ensure the best results. We greatly appreciate it if you deliver your car to us clean and washed. That way, there is less chance of dust or dirt getting under the film during application, which makes for a tighter end result.
In addition, it is nice if you remove loose items from the car and the trunk, so that our specialists can easily reach everything and the interior remains clean during the work. It is not necessary to disassemble windows or panels yourself. With these small preparations, you will help achieve a perfectly finished result that you will enjoy for years to come.
Window tinting involves applying special film to the inside of your car window. This film can vary in color and shade: dark colored film is often chosen for maximum privacy, but clear film also offers excellent functionality. For example, see-through film can still block heat, UV rays and harmful sun rays, while maintaining your view to the outside.
The film is carefully cut to size by our plotter, and applied tightly to the glass, leaving no air bubbles or creases. The result is not only a stylish look, but also more comfort in the car, less glare and extra protection for your interior.
We will tint your windows in a clean room for optimal installation. First, we thoroughly clean the windows, and prepare the car for film installation. Then we film the windows on the inside. We do not disassemble door panels or windows. At the beginning of this page you will find our video where we show all this in detail.
We use a special method to seal the film tightly onto the windows. In principle, it is therefore possible to open the film immediately after the window tinting. However, we recommend that you do not open the windows for a few days so that the adhesive can fully harden. After that, it is no problem to open and close the windows.
Window tinting does not interfere with the functions of the rear window heater. It will continue to do its job after your windows are tinted. In fact, your windows are less likely to fog up when film is installed on them. Should you ever want to remove the film, this is not a problem either. When removing the film, the rear window heater will not be damaged, provided this is done correctly. Of course, we can help with this as well.
